The Alpe du Grand Serre resort lies at the gateway to the Oisans mountains, perched above the Romanche valley on a plateau at an altitude of 1400 m surrounded by the Taillefer massif and Grand Serre mountain.
This layout gives skiers magnificent 360° panoramic views of the surrounding massifs and some of their most prestigious summits: the Meije and the Tabor in the Oisans, the Mont-Aiguille, the Grand Veymont and the Deux Soeurs in the Vercors, the Obiou in the Dévoluy, the massifs of the Chartreuse and Belledonne, as well as the Taillefer and the Oreille du Loup in the foreground.
